Annual Post
4.7.2008 - 2:38 pm
Hi everyone. My plans remain the same since one year ago. I will at some point make this site more useful for you guys. Life has been throwing quite a few curve balls, but I am certainly still alive.
New
4.6.2007 - 2:46 pm
I’m still alive I swear! I know I’ve thrown dates out here and there for completion of PVC pipe instrument instructions and the MyPipes project. Between work, finishing school, and life in general, I realize this site hasn’t received much tender love and care in awhile. I’ve started working on a new project that will take BMG Construction 101 to a new level of aesthetics and usefulness for you! That’s all I can say! When will it be done? I don’t know! Rest assured, good things are coming.
Post Your Instructions!
10.26.2006 - 9:39 am
I have added a new forum section in which you can now post your very own PVC pipe instrument instructions for the world to see! Let everyone in on your wood-cutting methods methods and drumbone reed secrets now.
Digg This
9.3.2006 - 12:46 am
It appears my site has popped up on Digg. Feel free to Digg this site to move ‘er up in the ranks and spread PVC instrument construction fever!
In other news, I plan to start chipping away at the high-range/mid-range PVC instrument instructions in the next few weeks.
RSS Fixed

I finally fixed up this main page to have the news feed correctly with RSS. (What the heck is RSS?)
Instructions Update
7.19.2006 - 9:16 am
I added/updated measurements for the tubulum. One pretty important update to recognize is that I mistakenly listed schedule 40 PVC pipe in my materials list, instead of sewer drain PVC pipe (thinner, near around schedule 20).
Complex Tour Tubulum Instructions Now Online
7.18.2006 - 4:02 pm
Sorry for the delay. Between camera and computer troubles, it took me a little longer than expected. I just put up a very rough 1st version of the instructions. They are by no means done. I think I have put up enough for you to start getting a good idea of the process. I will be updating them here and there over the next few days filling in the rest of the measurements. Enjoy!
New Instructions Available Next Week
6.29.2006 - 10:29 pm
I’m almost done with my Complex Tour Tubulum instructions. They will be online sometime within the next week. Immediately after that, I will begin writing the high-range and mid-range PVC instrument instructions.
MyPipes
5.23.2006 - 4:34 pm
I’ve noticed in the forums that some of you have talked about posting your instrument creations online for others to see. By the end of the summer, I plan to roll out the previously mentioned MyPipes section. Once you create your account, you will be able to set up a profile for yourself with the ability to post pictures and your very own sets of instructions. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted; just thought I’d say “Hi.”
Backpack Tubulum Instructions Now Online
3.31.2006 - 10:47 am
I know a lot of you have been pretty anxious to build a backpack tubulum, so I have put the first draft of Mike’s backpack tubulum instructions online. If you have any issues with the instructions, please use the Contact page to send them my way. General backpack tubulum construction questions should be directed to Mike. Enjoy!
